Skytraxx Beacon + Windows 10 - wird nicht erkannt

Mein Skytraxx beacon (neueste Firmware) wird von Win 10 Notebook nicht erkannt.

Ablauf Win 10:

- Beacon einschalten
- USB anstecken
- das Skytraxx Beacon lädt zwar aber wird nicht als Laufwerk erkannt.

Ablauf Win 97 / Win 8

Auf jeweils einem uralten Win97 und alten Win 8 Notebook kein Problem

- Beacon Einschalten, innerhalb 30sec anstecken
- wird sofort erkannt, bzw. (bei einem Notebook wo das beacon noch nie angesteckt war) zuerst autom. der treiber installiert und dann erkannt) ..

Hinweis: habe natürlich das selbe USB Kabel verwendet um USB Kabel ohne Datenfunktion auszuschließen ,-)

Netzrecherche brachte leider kein Ergebnis, Skytraxx hat bisher nicht geantwortet

Hat vielleicht jemand das selbe Problem und einen Hinweis / bzw. passenden Treiber (ich nehme an das ist das Problem) für mich ?

Ich habe gerade mal einen an einen Windows11-Rechner angeschlossen (10 hab ich nicht mehr) und auch gleich das FLARM-Update durchgeführt. Geht einwandfrei, egal ob man erst einschaltet oder erst verbindet. Das Witzige ist, dass der Beacon noch nie an diesem Rechner war, es wurde aber trotzdem kein Treiber installiert/benötigt.

Bei mir funktioniert(e) es bei W10 und auch jetzt mit W11 ohne jeglichen Treiber und problemlos.

Danke für Euer rasches Feedback, sehr komisch, mein beacon zugriff funktioniert nur unter Win 97 oder Win 8, mit dem MS Surface unter Win 10 wird der nicht erkannt.

Habs zur sicherheit noch mit einem anderen USB Kabel probiert

Muss also irgendwas mit meinem MS surface computer zu tun haben, werds noch mit meinem 2. backup MS surface probieren, wenns dort funktioniert fehlt dem hauptgerät irgendein treiber.

shoulders, weisst du zufällig welchen treiber das beacon nutzt ?

Du kannst mal z.B. mit USBTreeView (https://www.uwe-sieber.de/usbtreeview.html) schauen ob das Gerät gar nicht erkannt wird oder sonstige USB Probleme vorliegen. Ansonsten mal eine andere USB Buchse probieren oder einen (am besten alten USB 2.0) USB Hub dazwischen stecken.

USB 2.0 Hub hatte ich bereits probiert, leider kein Erfolg.

usbtreeview ist ein sehr interessantes werkzeug, vielen dank für den link.

Das Beacon wird definitv erkannt, aber offenbar im explorer nicht als massenspeicher angezeigt / erkannt

Das einzige was mir auffällt ist dieser Error:
